I’m excited to offer a journey through the Yamas & Niyamas, teachings that have been at the heart of my 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training since the very beginning and have been truly transformative for so many students. Class begins at 6:30pm and will run approximately two hours Each gathering will include a Yoga practice, followed by time to reflect, share, and explore how we can take these ancient teachings off the mat and into our everyday lives✨ We’ll begin with Ahimsa - Respect for All Life✨ What does that mean to you? In August, after 27 years sober (with a couple of relapses), I had a four-day slip, and I slipped hard, literally! I hit my head on the corner of a counter, and that is where my husband found me, lying in a pool of blood! The ambulance transported me to MidMichigan, where I was in ICU for a week, then Progressive Care for 7 days. It genuinely was the best thing that could have happened because during my stay, I was not allowed to get up without assistance, so I had a plethora of time for reflection.
